The Italian company OTK Kart Group and the Spanish Formula 1 driver, who was connected to the organization in the early years of his career, are embarking on a partnership that gives birth to a new brand: CS55 Racing Kart.

Carlos Sainz Jr. still practices karting today, like many of his fellow drivers. In addition to this passion, he has even decided to create a complete range of karting products. To do this, he has entrusted OTK Kart Group, which has been involved in karting design for 40 years, with the creation and trading of chassis, engines, and accessories.

The mutual trust relationship between the Spanish driver and the Italian manufacturer dates back to the beginning of his career, when Carlos Sainz Jr. was competing in international karting competitions with the teams of the OTK Kart group. Together, they notably won the Asia-Pacific KF3 Championship and secured the position of vice-champion in Spain. The following year, Carlos Sainz Jr. won the prestigious Monaco Junior Kart Cup and finished on the podium in the KF3 European Championship.

The concrete result of the new collaboration between Carlos Sainz Jr. and the OTK Kart group is represented by the first kart model of the new CS55 Racing brand. It will be available in both Junior and Senior single-speed versions, as well as a version with gear shifting. The official colors will be black, red, and yellow, matching Carlos Sainz Jr.’s helmet.

The Spanish driver was delighted to announce the creation of his brand. « CS55 Racing is an exciting project for me. OTK Kart Group is the international reference in the world of karting and I couldn’t be prouder to work with them. »

« I have the feeling that we are closing the loop, both for our shared past and what it means to know that the drivers of tomorrow will pursue their dreams in this kart. We have worked long and hard to make this possible and I am really excited to see it race and win on the track. », said Carlos Sainz Jr.
