Logan Sargeant has gained 5 kg of muscle to prepare for 2024
Logan Sargeant wants to achieve better performances in 2024 than those he showed the previous year. To do so, the American used the offseason to come back in better physical shape, with an additional five kilograms of muscle mass.

The 2023 season of Logan Sargeant was very complicated. The American was promoted to F1 after finishing fourth in his first season in F2. But in 22 races, he only scored one point, during the Austin Grand Prix, following the disqualifications of Leclerc and Hamilton for non-compliant ride height.
Sargeant was the last of the 20 drivers to be extended by his team after the final Grand Prix of the season in Abu Dhabi. However, the number 2 knows that he will have to deliver better performances in his second season, or else he risks losing his seat.
5 kilos of muscle gain
Logan Sargeant took advantage of the winter break to mentally and physically prepare himself for the longest season in Formula 1 history, with 24 Grand Prix races. The offseason has been excellent. It’s a great opportunity for me to step back, reflect, and evaluate myself from a mental, emotional, and physical standpoint, where I needed to improve, says the Williams driver positively.
« I feel like the offseason is the first opportunity to really do something about it, and it’s great. I was able to spend time at home, refresh myself, get into the best shape I’ve ever been in, and feel more ready than ever to take the step I know I can take. I think it’s all in the details. I learned a lot throughout the season. I learned that I needed to manage myself much better. I was very exhausted throughout the season and let it affect me off the track, and thus on the track as well, concludes the American.
« I wasn’t physically ready, and I did everything I could to get myself out of it. For example, I have 5 kilos more than at the end of last year, and I feel much healthier and much more ready to go. And from a driving perspective, simply having this benchmark, on every track I go to, of what a Formula 1 car is capable of doing, I can now really start on much better footing for these weekends. I know a lot more about what I can do behind the scenes to extract performance from a driving point of view », concludes Logan Sargeant.
