Max Verstappen announces it, the RB20 livery will be exactly the same as last year
While Red Bull will only reveal its car on February 15th, Max Verstappen leaked, live on his Twitch channel, that the livery of the RB-20 will be the same as the RB-19.
Since February 2nd and the presentation of the VF-24 by Haas, teams are taking turns unveiling their new cars for the 2024 season. While Haas, Stake, Williams, and Alpine have different colors, these F1 cars all have a more prominent use of visible carbon, aiming to reduce weight.
The Red Bull World Champions will be the last ones to unveil their RB20 on February 15th. If the F1 world is seeking to have the first information about this car, Max Verstappen calmly stated on his Twitch channel, while answering a question, that the livery will be exactly the same as the previous year.
If the statements of the triple world champion prove to be true, Red Bull will keep the same visual identity on their car since 2022. Last year, Max Verstappen achieved 19 victories out of the 22 races of the season. The first round in Bahrain, on March 2nd, will give us the first answers regarding a new domination, or not, from the Dutch driver.
