Ferrari releases images of the drivers’ suits for 2024, and white is back
Will the next Ferrari replace carbon with white? This is what the new combinations of Ferrari drivers, which have just been published on social networks and no longer contain black, could suggest.
The next combination of drivers and mechanics for the Scuderia Ferrari will be red with touches of yellow and white. While originally the yellow was there to evoke the Spanish flag and the white to recall the Monegasque colors, these new combinations no longer include black. From there to say that the new SF-24 will not have any visible carbon… that seems unthinkable.
Among the first 6 teams to unveil their 2024 car, all of them except Visa CashApp Racing Bulls have applied very little paint, leaving a lot of carbon visible. It is therefore unlikely that Ferrari will deviate from the weight-saving trend and manage to fully paint the SF24 in red or white. However, the new liveries often match the cars. So it is highly probable that white and yellow will be more prominent on the cars, with less black.
In Las Vegas, for this night race, Ferrari arrived with a special livery, including a completely white rear wing. Once again, if the teaser suggested that white would be predominant, it was not the case. Only a part of the rear wing and a few items on the car had turned white.
In the meantime, here’s the back of the 2024 season jumpsuit:
