Bernie Ecclestone denies having advised Christian Horner to resign
The Executive Director of Red Bull F1 Team is being investigated for "inappropriate behavior towards an employee" of the Austrian group. While the German press had reported that Bernie Ecclestone had advised his friend to leave the team management, the latter denied the information through his Instagram account.

For the past two weeks, Christian Horner has been the subject of an internal investigation led by Red Bull group due to inappropriate behavior towards an employee, as stated by the executive director of the Austrian team.
The Briton has denied all the allegations put against him and was heard by the Red Bull group on February 9th. The investigation is not yet completed. However, Horner will be present during the presentation of the RB-20 on February 15th.
Bernie Ecclestone’s denial
Since the opening of this investigation, comments from the world of Formula 1 have been scarce. James Volwes, Executive Director of Williams, has preferred to stick to the facts until a judgment has been made.
The German press reported that Bernie Ecclestone, former CEO of FOM and close to Christian Horner, allegedly suggested to the fifty-year-old to resign from his position at Red Bull. However, the former “F1’s top money man” denied this information through a post on his social media channels.
“To clarify the newspaper reports that suggest I urged or suggested that Christian Horner should resign from his position at Red Bull is completely false,” wrote Bernie Ecclestone on his Instagram account.
