Bahrain winter tests Day 2: Ferrari forced to change its single-seater’s floor
The morning session of the second day of winter testing was cut short due to a mandatory inspection on the circuit. Charles Leclerc collided with a water drain cover, and Ferrari confirmed it had changed the SF-24's flat floor.

As he had set the best time of the morning, Charles Leclerc suffered damage to the floor of his SF-24 after hitting a water drainage plate at the turn 11 rumble strip.
Ferrari then confirmed a change to the floor during the red flag that interrupted the session. Circuit maintenance being a priority, the incident ended the morning session, and the afternoon session is therefore extended by an hour to make up for lost time.
The SF-24 is successfully repaired on time, and Charles Leclerc ultimately continues for the start of the afternoon session, which you can still follow with live commentary on our website.
