Günther Steiner appointed ambassador of the Miami Grand Prix

Presenter, commentator, consultant, and now ambassador of a Formula 1 Grand Prix. It can be said that Günther Steiner doesn’t stop anymore. For someone who was, from 2014 to 2024, the team principal of Haas, it can be said that he is adapting well to his post-life. Indeed, he is very present, if not more, in the F1 paddock.

Presenter and commentator for RTL Germany, we also saw him doing interviews at the foot of the podium of the Australian Grand Prix. He will even become a consultant, on some races, for Canal+ and Channel 10, in the United Kingdom.

A role for discipline in Miami

For the third edition of the Miami Grand Prix (May 3-5), Steiner will take part in events. He will be the face of the event for the public and partners, at the circuit which takes place around the Miami Dolphins stadium, the city’s NFL team. An opportunity that Formula 1 seizes to ignite enthusiasm for motorsport in the United States.

I have seen first-hand the incredible growth of Formula 1 in the United States and it has so much potential to continue to grow, especially with a race like Miami on the circuit. The event reflects the organizers’ bold vision to combine American entertainment with racing in a dynamic atmosphere on the track and throughout the city itself,” he said.

« I am looking forward to working with the team in May for what will be a fantastic event ». A logical choice for someone known for their theatrical character with their swearing, speaking out, accent, but above all their participation in Drive to Survive, the Netflix series about Formula 1.
