Zak Brown ready to get a tattoo to celebrate Lando Norris’ first win
The McLaren boss, Zak Brown, said he was open to the idea of getting tattooed a second time to celebrate Lando Norris's first victory in F1.

McLaren CEO Zak Brown declared after the race that he would be ready to get tattooed again to celebrate Lando Norris’s first Formula 1 victory.
The Briton won his first victory in F1, stepping on the podium for the 16th time, he won the Miami Grand Prix ahead of Max Verstappen. This confirms Norris’ good work since joining McLaren in 2019.
This is now McLaren’s second victory under Zak Brown’s leadership, the first being at the Monza Grand Prix in 2021, with a double win with Daniel Ricciardo. To celebrate the Australian’s victory, Zak Brown had to get a tattoo following a bet. He got the Monza circuit tattooed on his arm.
Zak Brown could be on his way to another appointment at the tattoo artist’s after Lando Norris’ victory in Miami. Speaking after the race, Brown said: “My nerves weren’t very good, they still aren’t. But what a race. The car was amazing. I have to thank everyone at McLaren, and here. All the hard work is paying off.”
Regarding getting a tattoo, he added: “Yes, Miami doesn’t bother me. It’s kind of my hometown, so why not?”
Lando Norris had to wait a long time for his first victory, crossing the finish line in his 110th race. Brown felt it was greatly deserved, while paying tribute to Gil de Ferran and Mansour Ojjeh.
