Sauber F1 Team is selling a replica of the C44 race car, which was unveiled earlier this year by the Swiss team. A rare opportunity to own at home the model of the race car currently driven by Zhou Guanyu and Valtteri Bottas.

F1 Authentics provides cars for F1’s official presentations. The company is currently selling the Sauber C44, built in partnership with the Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber for the 2024 season. This single-seater was unveiled for the first time on February 5th at the Guildhall in London.
Every detail of the C44 is recreated with the utmost precision possible. Although they do not contain gearboxes or engines, these cars are exact replicas of those that will compete on the track and are manufactured using the same processes.
The C44 used by the team are piloted by Valtteri Bottas and his teammate Zhou Guanyu throughout the Formula 1 World Championship for the 2024 season. This is an opportunity for F1 enthusiasts to own a piece of Swiss team history. Assuming one can afford the modest sum of 296,995 euros.
Their campaign “Déchaînée” aims to demonstrate their spirit of challenge and their pursuit of performance. This campaign is embodied by their new design, which completely contrasts with their previous looks and will definitely stand out in the race.
More than 120 models were machined for the project of the C44 by the Sauber team. More than 80 hours of work are needed to prepare the single-seater. The chassis, bodywork, and wings are made from lightweight materials such as carbon fiber, which is strong and durable, allowing to replicate real cars. The components are handcrafted in molds using the same techniques as those used in F1 to ensure that the parts can withstand the loads while maintaining a perfect surface finish. Once the parts are laminated, they are hardened.
Then, they are cut and assembled by hand in sets of car parts. The painting workshop spends more than 100 hours preparing and decorating the cars, before that, the parts are smoothed with abrasive sandpaper. The entire process, from designing the modeled car concept to manufacturing the parts and deploying the car to the stand, can take up to 15 weeks.
