Lewis Hamilton reacted to Angela Cullen’s return to the world of motorsport. She began working alongside Marcus Armstrong, the New Zealand driver who is competing in the IndyCar championship.
She left her position as a physiotherapist and personal assistant to Lewis Hamilton last year after seven years of collaboration. This is her first official role since leaving her position alongside the British driver.
I think she is a healer. She is a positive person. Her goal is to bring love to everyone she meets, and in everything she does. She is passionate about sports. I think she really appreciates this different environment. But always in the race.
During her time here, she became a passionate racing fan. Once you catch the virus, it’s hard to get rid of it. Why should she? She belongs to the sport. She is definitely happy right now, he says.
Marcus Armstrong is a former prospect of the Ferrari Driver Academy, who finished his first season in Formula 3 in third place. He also won races in Formula 2. He now drives in IndyCar for Chip Ganassi Racing.
Lewis Hamilton had said about his close friend at his departure. Angela is living her life at the moment. She has so many ideas of things she wants to do. We send each other messages almost every day. We will always go skydiving together. We will always be in each other’s lives.
« We are stuck with each other, unfortunately or fortunately! We have been through ups and downs. I am grateful that our relationship is as good as it is. We probably had one of the longest relationships, I would say, in sport. I am incredibly grateful to him, I love him a lot. »
