Ocean-themed helmet for Bottas in Monaco
For the Monaco Grand Prix, several drivers opted for an original helmet. Such is the case of Sauber driver Valtteri Bottas, who decided to wear an ocean-themed helmet to help the underwater world of the Mediterranean Sea.

We know that the Finnish driver is very committed to the city of Monaco, where he resides, and notably to the association of Princess Charlene of Monaco, such as for example at the World Gravel Championships.
This helmet was created in collaboration with the Blue Marine Foundation association. It is the foundation of Prince Albert II of Monaco, which works every day in favor of ocean conservation. The helmet worn during the race will be signed by Valtteri Bottas, and will then be auctioned in Monaco on September 25 during the Blue Marine auction.
The profits will be distributed between the two foundations, notably to the project of restoring seagrass beds in the Mediterranean. A great initiative from Sauber’s pilot.
