A F1 from Apex GP, the 11th team from Brad Pitt’s movie, crashed
APX GP, the 11th team imagined for the upcoming film starring Brad Pitt about Formula 1, experienced a major crash at the Silverstone circuit this week. No information confirms whether it is part of the script or not. The answer is probably in the movie.
APX GP is a virtual Formula 1 team, created and imagined as the 11th Formula 1 team for a movie directed and produced by Brad Pitt and co-produced by several other actors, including Lewis Hamilton.
The team was started last year and regularly races with anonymous drivers in a Formula 2 car redesigned by Mercedes to resemble the look and dimensions of a Formula 1 car. The Race has unveiled images of a crash that occurred this week.
The images do not provide any detailed information. However, it was a remote-controlled single-seater equipped with cameras. It could probably be a deliberate crash carried out as part of the movie’s scenario.
Can’t park there mate, etc 👀

Note that the film is shot in real conditions in some races this season, just like last year. So, we were able to see the APX GP driving on the Miami circuit last May.
The movie is scheduled for 2025 with Brad Pitt playing the role of Sonny Hayes and Damson Idris playing the role of Joshua Pearce.
