Considered as the driver with the best fashion style on the grid, this partnership seems like an obvious choice for Lewis Hamilton. For the occasion, he will create a capsule collection with Dior’s creative director, Kim Jones. « This major announcement comes with the launch of a lifestyle capsule collection designed as part of a collaboration with Dior’s creative director for menswear, Kim Jones, the brand stated.
With a release planned for October 17, the new capsule will be dedicated to sliding sports, skiing, and snowboarding. It will offer ski clothing, but also accessories, none of which will contain leather, in line with the values of the British driver who fights for animal respect.
The driver himself pointed out the luck of such an opportunity that presented itself to him. “Working with Kim and her talented team at Dior was an absolute dream. Our values and ideas complement each other, which made it easier to develop a unique collection linked to our common experiences,” he said. “Making responsible choices while pushing the limits of excellence for each piece, drawing from my African roots – especially fabrics with natural materials, vibrant colors, powerful energy – all of this has been for me a major source of inspiration.” An opportunity also praised by the director himself, who confirmed the good understanding between the two parties on the creation of the collection.
While waiting for the release in 3 months, Dior has already shared the first images of the collection.
