1: Since its inclusion in the calendar in 1952, Zandvoort is the only circuit to have hosted the Dutch Grand Prix in history. Located in the dunes of the Dutch coast, the circuit combines long straights and fast corners and is one of the most demanding tracks for tires. The compounds used this weekend are the hardest in the Pirelli range.

1:11.097: Since his return to the calendar, Lewis Hamilton holds the record for the fastest lap at Zandvoort. It was set in 2021 during the Grand Prix. With complicated weather conditions in the last two years, his time of 1:11.097 has never been threatened.

3: This is the number of consecutive victories that Max Verstappen has obtained at the Dutch Grand Prix since 2021. Although in reality it is Jim Clark who achieved the highest number of victories (4), the layout of the Zandvoort circuit from 1960 has almost nothing in common with the new one, except for sector 1 which includes the pit lane. Max Verstappen is therefore the undisputed champion since he first drove on the circuit after its return.

36: The Dutch Grand Prix was off the Formula 1 World Championship calendar for 36 years. After starting in 1985 and being considered a dangerous circuit, it returned in 2021 and could disappear again next year.

Translate: 6: Before Max Verstappen’s victory in 2021, it was the best position a Dutch driver had managed to achieve at home. This feat was achieved by Carel Godin de Beaufort in 1962 and Gijs van Lennep in 1973, both finishing in 6th place.

4,259 km: The current layout of Zandvoort extends over 4.259 kilometers, which represents the distance to be covered for one lap of the race. At the end of the 72 laps, the drivers will have covered a total of 306.648 km.

14: This is the number of turns that make up one lap of the track. On the track, it is the Tarzan corner that has left the biggest mark in Formula 1 history. Known for being particularly narrow, this 180-degree turn has sent many drivers off track. Positioned on an 18-degree slope, it is one of the reasons why it is so difficult to overtake at Zandvoort.

5: At the dawn of the last three Grand Prix, this is the number of safety cars that have been deployed. If the 2021 Grand Prix did not have any, last year’s race alone counted 3 safety cars, one of which was the result of a red flag.

56: During the 33 editions of the Dutch Grand Prix, 54 different drivers have stepped onto the podium. Last year, Alpine driver Pierre Gasly caused a surprise by reaching the last step of the podium alongside Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso.

72: This is the number of laps to be completed before the drivers can see the checkered flag. It is one of the circuits with the most laps on the calendar after the Monaco Grand Prix.
