Jack Doohan’s first words after taking over at Alpine
Following the announcement of his appointment to the Alpine team for next year, the Australian driver opened up in the Zandvoort paddock.

Present in Zandvoort as part of the Dutch Grand Prix, Jack Doohan said he was delighted the day after the announcement of his appointment at Alpine from the 2025 season.
« It’s awesome, it’s a childhood dream come true. I think of my family, of all the sacrifices we had to make to get here. I want to thank especially Oliver Oakes and Flavio Briatore for their support. »
The Italian leader is indeed the manager of the Australian driver and undoubtedly had to push to defend his protege and place him alongside Pierre Gasly in 2025.
Member of the Alpine Academy for several years, the son of the five-time motorcycle world champion will thus not need to learn about the team’s procedures or the names of its members.
« I have been on the team for a while now. I have been working on the development of the car for some time already. I was still in the simulator at the factory yesterday. I still want to say that I am really very grateful to Alpine for this promotion. »
Jack Doohan’s first Grand Prix as a full-time Formula 1 driver will be the first of the 2025 calendar scheduled for March 16 in Melbourne.
