Upon arriving in Singapore, Oscar Piastri met an… Oscar. The young fan wanted the Australian to know.

Struggling with his Aston Martin during the tests, Alonso pressed several buttons while maneuvering to keep his car on track. We let you enjoy the exchange with his engineer.

Engineer: « Just to check Fernando, did you press the pit stop button. Is this on purpose? »

Alonso: « No. To avoid an accident with this car, I press the buttons. All the buttons I have. »

The young Franco Colapinto found himself in a comical situation during the second free practice session. The Argentine, during a pit stop, stopped in front of the Alpine garage instead of Williams! The PR of the French team took advantage of this to tease the rookie.

Have you ever looked at objects and wondered how they got there?

A surprise guest prompted a red flag at the start of Free Practice 3: a lizard! Race marshals had to go the extra mile to catch it.

TV management is not always kind to its pilots.

« Lando Norris: started a GP from pole position five times, and lost the lead on the first lap each time.”

« Franco Colapinto: has scored more points in two races than his predecessor Sargeant did in 36 starts with the team »

« Max Verstappen: without a win in seven Grand Prix »

After the lizard in free practice, it was Carlos Sainz who triggered a red flag in Q3. The Spaniard’s Ferrari ended up in the barriers on the pit straight.

The Singapore Grand Prix is one of the most physically demanding for the drivers… and their teams. So, some find solutions, like at Williams.

With a track record of 1:29.525, Lando Norris took pole position on Saturday.

The drivers start when the lights go out! Norris keeps the lead and Verstappen holds off Hamilton.

Mercedes stopped Lewis Hamilton early to try the undercut and put on the hard tires. But these tires were not performing well on the track on Sunday and the Briton paid for it throughout the race.

Hamilton: « You are killing me with this strategy, guys.

If Sergio Perez finished the race 10th ahead of Franco Colapinto, the Mexican had some difficulty in overtaking the Argentine at the beginning of the race. And he made it known on the radio.

Perez: « He is very good. Difficult to overtake… Colapinto.

From start to finish, Lando Norris won the Singapore GP hands down. This is his 3rd victory in his F1 career, the second in a row for McLaren after Piastri in Baku.

However, number 4 saw Ricciardo snatch the fastest lap point from him right at the end of the race. A point that could be crucial when it comes to tallying up the scores at the end of the season. It’s not Max Verstappen who complained about it.

Engineer: « Your old friend Daniel also achieved the best lap in the end.

Verstappen: (e) Thank you Daniel! »

Behind Perez, Franco Colapinto, in the honorable 11th position, discovered the demands of the Singapore GP this Sunday. He had to adjust his communication with his team.

Franco Colapinto: « I couldn’t talk, but it’s not that I didn’t want to. I just needed to save energy.

The Williams driver is not the only one who has struggled with the Singaporean conditions. Many seemed exhausted when they got out of their cars.

First with over 20 seconds’ lead on the line, Lando Norris still had two scares on the track, flirting with the walls. Watching the images in the coolroom, Verstappen highlighted his sense of humor.

Max Verstappen: « You should have released the brakes »

Dutch driver was sanctioned by the FIA for his comments in the press conference before the start of the Grand Prix. Still in the coolroom, it was Oscar Piastri who mentioned it, with humor once again.

Piastri to Norris: « Without using bad words, what did you feel at that moment? »

Lando Norris was also exhausted after his victory. David Coulthard wanted to help him cool off, in his own way.

Named driver of the day by F1 fans, Daniel Ricciardo may have competed in his last Formula 1 race in Singapore. The Australian received a nice tribute from his entourage.
