Esteban Ocon and Oliver Oakes applaud the performance of Abbi Pulling in her quest for the title in the F1 Academy
Abbi Pulling, supported by Alpine in the female category and a member of the Alpine Academy team, is leading the drivers' standings with 245 points, giving her a significant lead of 95 points over Doriane Pin, who is in second place.

This lead gives her an advantage, with only 18 points needed in the last four races to seal the title, regardless of the result of the Frenchwoman, Doriane Pin, the Briton could potentially become champion as early as the first race of the penultimate round, this weekend, in Qatar.
During the five races held so far, Abbi Pulling has won seven races, achieved three other podiums, and secured seven pole positions.
A performance that drew praise from Esteban Ocon, his teammate at Alpine. “I am really impressed by Abbi’s season,” said the Frenchman at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. “I am especially impressed by her progress since she has been in single-seaters. She has really done an excellent job.”
« She is one of those drivers who train very hard, remain close to the team, and get very involved. She is very attentive to what we do in Formula 1. We also receive feedback from them when they drive before us, and this information is always very relevant. And yes, she has been truly impressive in what she has achieved, and I hope she can win the title this year.
The team principal of Alpine, Oliver Oakes, who has experience in developing young drivers through the foundation of the Hitech Grand Prix team (present in F2 and F3), is also optimistic about Abbi Pulling’s future.
« Obviously, even before taking this position, I had already seen her in the British motor racing scene,” Oakes explained. « And with the F1 Academy having supported a few Formula 1 weekends this season, it’s fantastic to see her success,” Oakes added.
« I think she is clearly on the right track to continue climbing the ranks. One of the first questions asked during a briefing in Enstone was actually about her future projects. She is close to finalizing [the F1 Academy title]. So, eventually, you will see in which category she will race. But it’s really exciting to see her succeed at this level.
