Pierre Gasly carries Alpine alone to Abu Dhabi
The only real defender of Alpine in the Constructors' Championship in this final race, Pierre Gasly ensured, as he has done all season, to secure the team's sixth place overall.

With a seventh position at the finish, he secured the tenth place in the drivers’ championship and offered Alpine the sixth position among the constructors. “I am extremely happy with this end of the season. It represents a lot of work from the team. We went through so many challenging moments, we never stopped fighting. It finally paid off at the end of the season. We managed to be the best in the midfield in Qatar as well. It was unthinkable to finish in this position considering where we were in Bahrain,” he analyzed on Canal + microphone.
