The FIA and Formula 1 have announced the calendar for the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, which will once again feature 24 races to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the championship.

You’ll have to rise at dawn as the season will begin with the Australian Grand Prix from March 14 to 16, marking its return as the opening race. A first since 2020, a year when it was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the season will end as in previous years, on the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi (December 5-7).

The paddock will once again visit five of the world’s seven continents. Due to Ramadan taking place throughout March 2025, the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will be held in April.

The traditional summer break remains scheduled for August, with three weekends of rest separating the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring before the vacation, and the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort after the vacation.

The adjustments made in 2024 to improve the geographical logic of the races have been implemented again in 2025. Japan is on the calendar in April after Australia and China, followed mainly by European races during the summer and those in the Americas in the fall, before the season ends with the Qatar and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, held consecutively.

Six Sprint races will take place in 2025: in Shanghai, Miami, Spa, Austin, São Paulo, and Qatar. Winter testing will once again be held in Bahrain, from February 26 to 28.
