Lewis Hamilton and Angela Cullen team up again in F1
Lewis Hamilton has hired physiotherapist Angela Cullen as part of his Project 44 company, as he begins his new challenge at Ferrari.

Lewis Hamilton will reunite with his former physiotherapist, Angela Cullen, as he embarks on a new chapter of his F1 career with Ferrari.
Lewis Hamilton, who had a fruitful collaboration with Angela Cullen during his time at Mercedes, has once again called upon the New Zealander, who will join his support team. Angela Cullen, who worked with Lewis Hamilton for six of his seven world championship titles, had left her role after the first race of the 2023 season.
A return to the team for the Briton
Despite their professional separation, the two have remained close and frequently exchange messages. Angela Cullen has joined Lewis Hamilton’s Project 44 as a physiotherapist and will be part of the performance team overseen by sporting director, Marc Hynes.
Since the beginning of 2024, Project 44 has made several strategic recruitments in various fields to manage the driver’s career. After leaving the entourage of Lewis Hamilton, Angela Cullen has worked with the New Zealand IndyCar driver Marcus Armstrong.
The rumors of her return to the seven-time world champion at Ferrari gained momentum at the beginning of the month when she posted photos on Instagram where she was wearing red, with a flag displaying the race number 44 in the background.
Referring to their separation in 2023, Lewis Hamilton stated: « Angela is living her life right now. She has so many projects she wants to accomplish. We text each other almost every day. We’ll go skydiving together. We will always be present in each other’s lives. We are glued to each other, unfortunately or fortunately! We have been through a lot together. I am grateful that our relationship is as good as it is. We probably have one of the longest relationships in this sport. I am incredibly grateful to her, I love her deeply. »
The announcement of the return of their collaboration coincides with Lewis Hamilton’s first laps driving a single-seater equipped with a Ferrari engine on the team’s test track in Fiorano.
He also met with the team director, Fred Vasseur, CEO Benedetto Vigna, and Piero Ferrari, the son of founder Enzo Ferrari. Lewis Hamilton visited Enzo Ferrari’s office and spent the day getting to know his new team.
