A logical sequence
It follows the naming convention adopted in the last two seasons, with the 2023 and 2024 single-seaters named SF-23 and SF-24, respectively.
Ferrari has prepared for the 2025 season with tests on its own Fiorano circuit, where Lewis Hamilton made his highly anticipated first laps with the team, as well as in Barcelona in recent weeks.
This week’s test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was disrupted by an accident involving Lewis Hamilton, who was sharing his track time with his teammate Charles Leclerc.
Subsequently, Ferrari will also participate in a Pirelli tire test at the Spanish circuit next week.
Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will take the wheel of the new Ferrari for a shakedown in Fiorano on February 19, before the F1 grid heads to Bahrain for the pre-season testing from February 26 to 28.
