The team of the world champion has just announced a multi-year partnership with 1Password, a leader in cybersecurity and a specialist in password management and digital identity. A timely partnership for Red Bull. The team, which lost 3 sponsors during the winter break, is now breathing new life into this reshuffling of partnerships.

The departure of Sergio Perez having hastened things. Telcel, which had started negotiations following Perez’s contract extension, withdrew after his departure. Similarly, Claro, another company connected to the Mexican driver, ended the partnership.

This partnership with 1Password aims to strengthen the security of sensitive data for the entire team, whether on the circuits or at the headquarters in Milton Keys.

David Faugno, co-CEO of 1Password, was excited about this collaboration during the announcement of the partnership: « Partnering with a world champion like Oracle Red Bull Racing is an incredible opportunity. As a dominant force in Formula 1, their success relies on engineering excellence, innovation, and seamless, secure access to critical information wherever it may be. »

A partnership can hide another one. An agreement with the crypto platform Gate.io was signed, illustrating the team’s desire to diversify its collaborations. This new partnership eases the recent departure of Bybit, another cryptocurrency company. After being a major partner since 2022, Bybit broke off its collaboration with the team a few weeks ago, citing the instability of the cryptocurrency market.
