Aston Martin signs with a cryptocurrency platform and a cosmetics brand
Aston Martin signs two partnerships before the start of the 2025 season. The team partners with Elemis, a British cosmetics brand, to promote inclusion and sustainable development. The collaboration with Coinbase, on the other hand, marks the first time a stablecoin (USDC) is used for team financing. These partnerships illustrate Aston Martin's determination to innovate.

Aston Martin and cosmetics?
Aston Martin has entered into a pioneering new partnership with the iconic British skincare brand Elemis. This partnership brings together cutting-edge beauty innovation and the high performance of Formula 1.
By collaborating with the British team, the luxury brand aims to promote inclusion in the world of Formula 1, which has recently seen a shift in the profile of its supporters: women aged 16 to 24 make up the fastest-growing fan group.
But also the arrival of women in teams in positions other than communication or management, such as the first female race engineer: Laura Mueller, who will be Esteban Ocon’s race engineer, or Hannah Schmitz, principal strategy engineer at Red Bull.
This commitment is also in favor of sustainable development, with the cosmetics brand having environmentally friendly practices, particularly in sourcing, which also reflects the English team’s ambition for the planet.
Sean Harrington, co-founder and CEO of ELEMIS, stated: « Becoming the first official skincare partner of Aston Martin Aramco marks an important collaborative milestone for ELEMIS. By kicking off this multi-year partnership that unites our two iconic brands, both rich in their British roots, we have set ourselves the same mission: to push the boundaries of performance and innovation on the global stage. This value-driven partnership is the first of its kind and represents a pioneering effort in Formula 1. It demonstrates how two leaders and innovators in their respective fields can work together to change perception, empower others, and create an unparalleled lifestyle experience. ELEMIS and Aston Martin Aramco both have the thirst to win. I am proud and excited to see our partnership come to life. »
Jessica Hawkins, ambassador driver and head of the F1 Academy at Aston Martin Aramco Formula One, stated: « Today is a great day as we announce the official partnership of Aston Martin Aramco with ELEMIS for skincare. Formula 1 represents the pinnacle of performance, which echoes ELEMIS’s commitment to creating top-notch, cutting-edge skincare. As the head of the team’s F1 Academy, it is very important for me to promote inclusion and ensure that motorsport is a place where everyone is welcome. It is therefore incredible that ELEMIS shares the same goal, as part of its partnership and strategy in general. »
During the first year of collaboration, ELEMIS plans to unveil a range of exclusive limited edition products. They will also offer visitors the ultimate trackside experience and in the Aston Martin lounge of the Paddock Club by providing a moment of well-being through treatments.
With Coinbase, Aston Martin opens the door to a one-of-a-kind financing.
Aston Martin’s Formula 1 team has announced a multi-year partnership with Coinbase, marking the firm’s debut in Formula 1.
The agreement is remarkable because it is entirely funded in USDC, the stablecoin equivalent to the US dollar (equivalent of bitcoin). It is the first time in Formula 1 that a team is entirely funded in stablecoin for the partnership.
The name of the cryptocurrency server will be visible on the Halo, on the rear wings, and also on the drivers’ suits.
Jefferson Weak, General Manager of Aston Martin’s administration, highlighted the innovative nature of the financing.
« This partnership demonstrates the trust we have in digital finance and Coinbase’s expertise. By fully associating with USDC, we signal our commitment to innovation and building a sustainable Coinbase database. »
