The ten Formula 1 teams will simultaneously unveil their 2025 liveries tonight at the F1 75 Live, a historic event celebrating the 75th anniversary of the championship. This unprecedented gathering will bring together all 20 drivers, highlighted by the first official appearance of Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari red.
The unprecedented F1 75 Live event will be held tonight at the O2 Arena in London, bringing together for the first time all ten teams and twenty drivers to unveil their 2025 liveries. Here is a practical guide to ensure you don’t miss a moment of this historic spectacle that kicks off the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of Formula 1.
Essential information: Where to watch F1 75 Live in France
The ceremony will begin at 9:00 PM French time and will last about two hours. For the 15,000 lucky ones who managed to get tickets, the on-site experience will be unique. But don’t worry if you’re not in London: several options are available for you to follow the event.
Indeed, French fans will be able to watch the broadcast for free on the official F1 YouTube channel starting at 9:00 PM. Canal+, the official F1 broadcaster in France, has also confirmed the full transmission of this special evening. The event will also be accessible on F1’s various social media platforms, notably on X (formerly Twitter).
The evening program
The teams will present themselves in the reverse order of the 2024 constructors’ standings, starting with Sauber and ending with McLaren, the reigning champion. Each team will have seven minutes on stage to present its 2025 livery and drivers, with live interviews.
Between the presentations, musical performances will liven up the evening. The artistic lineup includes American country singer Kane Brown, artist MGK, composer Brian Tyler (creator of the F1 musical theme), and the legendary British band Take That.
The event will be hosted by English comedian Jack Whitehall, accompanied by F1 TV presenters: Laura Winter, Ariana Bravo, and Lawrence Barretto. Several celebrities are also expected for the occasion, including Jared Leto, Idris Elba, Fatboy Slim, athlete Dina Asher-Smith, rapper Giggs, and social media star Vikkstar, among others.
The Hamilton moment at Ferrari
One of the most anticipated moments will undoubtedly be Lewis Hamilton’s first public appearance in Ferrari red. After conducting private tests in the cars from the last two Scuderia seasons, the seven-time world champion has not yet given any official interviews since his sensational transfer. This will be an opportunity to see him interact with his new teammate Charles Leclerc and to discover the new livery of the Italian team.
The pairs to discover on the 2025 grid
The event will also highlight the many changes in team line-ups for 2025. Except for McLaren – Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri – and Aston Martin – Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll – all teams will feature at least one new driver.
At Red Bull, Max Verstappen, the reigning world champion, welcomes his new teammate Liam Lawson. Mercedes enters a new era with George Russell taking the helm and young Kimi Antonelli replacing Hamilton.
Jack Doohan will take Esteban Ocon’s place alongside Pierre Gasly at Alpine. The latter will continue with the French team, while Ocon will join Haas alongside Oliver Bearman, who has been promoted to a regular driver after his role as a reserve driver.
Williams will welcome Carlos Sainz, coming from Ferrari, alongside Alex Albon. At Racing Bulls, Isack Hadjar will make his F1 debut alongside Yuki Tsunoda.
An unprecedented format
Traditionally, each team presented their car at their own event. To celebrate its 75th anniversary, F1 has decided to bring all the teams together in one place. By gathering them all on the same stage, the aim is to create a unifying event for fans worldwide, while giving smaller teams fair exposure at the start of the evening.
The enthusiasm surrounding this event is undeniable. Indeed, the 15,000 available tickets sold out in less than an hour when they went on sale online on November 15, 2024. More than just a showcase of single-seaters, this event will redefine the history of F1, which is constantly evolving.
Although all the 2025 liveries are unveiled tonight, some teams have maintained their own events. Ferrari will hold its official presentation tomorrow in Fiorano, where Hamilton and Leclerc will take to the track. Mercedes and Aston Martin have scheduled digital launches on February 23 and 24, respectively.
Advice for fans
To fully enjoy the event, it is advisable to connect a few minutes before the official start in order not to miss any of the arrivals on the red carpet. Drivers, team managers, and prestigious guests will make their appearance before the show kicks off at 9:00 PM.
