Bahrain Winter Testing – Day 3: Ferrari Ahead of Mercedes for the Last Morning
Charles Leclerc set the pace with his Ferrari, just ahead of Kimi Antonelli. Lando Norris follows them in this top three of the morning.

The weather was better than yesterday in Bahrain this morning: sunny despite a bit of wind. The track temperature was therefore higher than yesterday afternoon. If the weather stays like this, the times in the afternoon should be more impressive.
Charles Leclerc set the fastest time with a lap in 1:30.811 on C3 tires, followed by Kimi Antonelli and Lando Norris. Isack Hadjar completed the most laps, crossing the line 73 times. In contrast, Gabriel Bortoleto only completed 35 laps, as the Sauber had to stay in the garage for an extended period for repairs by the mechanics.
Additionally, Haas also had some issues. A brief yellow flag was needed to pick up a piece of the car from the grass near the track. Bearman had to do a lap with a gaping hole in the side of his car. The session was also interrupted because a window shattered above the track, covering part of the tarmac with glass shards.
During this final morning of testing in Bahrain, Fernando Alonso had to replace his teammate Lance Stroll, who was unwell. Only 8th, the Aston Martin driver still completed 49 laps, which allowed the team to gather valuable data.
