Scuderia Ferrari puts on a show in Milan in front of thousands of fans to inaugurate the start of the season
Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc lit up Milan this Thursday evening with an exceptional F1 show. In front of frenzied tifosi, the new Ferrari driver displayed his ambitions: to bring the Scuderia back to the top and aim for the world title.

Milan vibrated Thursday night! Lewis Hamilton, the new star of Scuderia Ferrari, gave an incredible show to the tifosi. Before officially starting his first race in red in Australia, the seven-time world champion roared a Ferrari F1 through the streets of the Lombard capital.
Accompanied by his teammate, Hamilton took the wheel of a 2021 SF21, while Charles Leclerc settled into the 2019 SF90, the car of his first victories in F1. A true gift for the fans, and a first in six years for Ferrari, which hadn’t organized such an event in the streets of Milan. Needless to say, the crowd was in attendance!

The tifosi in a frenzy
If Ferrari is a religion in Italy, then Thursday night, Milan was a cathedral! Lewis Hamilton literally heated up the asphalt, stringing together donuts and breathtaking accelerations. The tifosi, gathered along the streets, responded with an explosion of cheers and songs, confirming that the Briton is already embraced by the red crowd.
Lewis was visibly happy about this connection with the fans: “I can’t wait to hit the track with this extraordinary team,” he said. Ferrari wanted to make a big impact by organizing this parade, and it’s mission accomplished. Seeing Hamilton, a seven-time world champion, in red attire and behind the wheel of a Ferrari, is an image that can send shivers down the spine of any motorsport enthusiast.
Hamilton does not hide his ambitions: he wants to add an eighth star to his record and bring a world title to Ferrari, which has been chasing it since 2007. “I think we have everything we need to fight for the world championship,” he stated, before adding a strong message to the tifosi: “You, the fans, can be our extra speed. I hope we will have a lot of fun together.”
Lewis wants to take Ferrari to the top and is counting on the unwavering support of the tifosi to get there. And it’s safe to say that this season promises to be decisive. Since his arrival in Formula 1 in 2007, Hamilton has won everything with Mercedes, but this new challenge is significant. He has to adapt to a new team, a new car, a new atmosphere. But if anyone can take on this crazy bet, it’s him.
Next step: Melbourne
After this last festive lap in pre-season, Hamilton will now get down to business. Last week, he completed his testing in Bahrain, fine-tuning his settings before the first race in Melbourne. The Briton is ready, and so are the tifosi.
The appointment is set: starting next week, we’ll finally see what the Ferrari-Hamilton duo is capable of in the Grand Prix. The question on everyone’s lips: can he clinch a victory in his first race in red? We’ll find out soon.
