Racing Bulls in full boost
It's been years since we've seen the Racing Bulls in such good form! The two drivers put in a phenomenal Q2. A few mistakes cost Yuki Tsunoda and Isack Hadjar places in Q3. But the result is there.

Iscak Hadjar fought like a king, competing with the top 5 drivers. He held the fastest lap on the circuit for some time. His teammate Yuki Tsunoda also made a remarkable progress for the team.
Racing Bulls, the awakening of a mid-table team
« It’s incredible. » Iscak Hadjar, the French rookie, put his catastrophic weekend in Melbourne well behind him and showed remarkable performances today. Despite a 7th place, he admits to having made some mistakes, but remains « very satisfied ».
Yuki Tsunoda first wanted to congratulate the whole team: « I’m happy for the team, we’re both in the game. » The Japanese driver faced some difficulties during Q3: « I made some small mistakes. » He finished in an honorable 9th place but feels a bit guilty for his mistakes and offered his apologies to the team.
Before the session started, Laurent Mekies, the team director, was very satisfied with his drivers and impressed by the Frenchman. The report is extremely positive […] he immediately found a good balance with the car and a natural speed. Laurent Mekies notes that Isack Hadjar has never driven on this circuit, but he immediately found the right rhythm. He is going to give us a very solid weekend here. It is now clear to him that he has the cards in hand to improve.
Isack Hadjar was summoned by the F1 stewards for a dangerous incident involving Max Verstappen during the Chinese Grand Prix qualifying. His mechanic was signaling him to exit without checking if any driver was approaching. The Dutchman had to avoid him by driving close to the garages. Both men were to appear before the stewards at 5:15 p.m. local time (10:15 a.m. in France).
