Jack Doohan sanctioned in China after a collision with Isack Hadjar
The Chinese Grand Prix was marked by an incident involving Jack Doohan and Isack Hadjar, during a manoeuvre at Turn 14. The Australian was awarded two penalty points on his super license.

The stewards of the Chinese Grand Prix have handed Jack Doohan a 10-second penalty for pushing another driver off the track at turn 14. The incident, which occurred at 4:17 PM during the race, also earned the Australian two penalty points on his super license, bringing his total to four points over a 12-month period.
According to the analysis by the stewards, who based their conclusions on positioning and signaling system data, on-board videos, and timing records, Doohan lost control of his car while attempting to regain his position after being overtaken by the Frenchman from VisaCashApp Racing Bulls. A wheel lock-up led to a forced off-track excursion for Isack Hadjar.
This penalty is in line with the FIA guidelines regarding incidents involving a forced overtaking outside the track limits. In accordance with the FIA International Sporting Code, the Alpine team has the right to appeal within the given timeframe.
Double bad operation for the Australian, who finished in 16th place after starting 18th. Far behind his teammate Pierre Gasly, who missed the points, finishing 11th in China.
