It is a collector’s item that should be worth a small fortune. On Sunday, April 13, on the sidelines of the Bahrain Grand Prix, Jackie Stewart got back into a single-seater. The three-time Formula 1 world champion took the wheel of his Tyrrell from his last season in the discipline.

While his white helmet with typical Scottish decoration was indeed present, other designs could catch the eye. His helmet was signed by the twenty world champions still alive. More surprisingly, Michael Schumacher’s signature was indeed there. According to information from the Daily Mail, the German’s wife supposedly helped facilitate this signature.

It’s wonderful that Michael was able to sign this helmet for this noble cause. His wife helped him, and this helmet completed the list of all the champions still with us, emphasized the Scotsman.

This helmet will soon be auctioned off in aid of Race Against Dementia, an organization created by Jackie Stewart. He founded it after his wife was affected by the disease. Frequently, the man with 99 starts in F1 uses his fees to donate to this organization, as he did during his appearance at the first episode of Charade Classic.

Recently, in an interview with the BBC, the triple world champion discussed his wife’s illness and her deteriorating health. The other day, it was dinnertime. She gets up, I was sitting next to her, and she asks me, “Where is Jackie?” It’s the first time this has happened, and it’s only been a few weeks, he recounted. According to him, she can no longer walk today.
