Stake F1 Team’s special livery at the Miami Grand Prix
The Miami GP 2025 sees the Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber unveil a special livery, inspired by the city's artistic energy. The design, which will adorn the C45, pays homage to the fusion of motorsport and local culture.
Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber will have a special livery adorning its cars for the 2025 Miami Grand Prix. This exceptional design is directly inspired by the vibrant art scene of the Floridian city.
A livery inspired by contemporary art
The C45 will feature a dominant neon green paint that wraps around the curves of the single-seater, creating an effect of depth and dynamism. The design, developed in collaboration with title partner Stake, evokes the appearance of freshly applied paint, as if an artist had just completed their work right before the car hits the track. The Swiss team retains its usual colors, black and neon green, but offers an entirely redesigned visual arrangement for this specific event.
Drivers Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will wear matching racing suits reflecting the same theme. The team’s garage and pit stop equipment will also feature this Miami-inspired design, ensuring a consistent visual presence with this special livery.
Stefano Battiston, Commercial Director of the team, explains the approach behind this initiative: “This livery is much more than just a new look, it’s a celebration of Miami’s creative spirit and our commitment to energizing the sport for our fans. Our goal in designing it with Stake was to stand out, not only through our on-track commitment but also through our boldness and creativity off the circuit.”
First in a series of initiatives
This special livery marks the first initiative of its kind for Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber this season. The team announced that fans can expect more surprises and special moments throughout the year.
« Our team is committed to creating memorable moments and engaging experiences, and this special edition in Miami is a perfect example. », notes Battiston regarding this strategy of special initiatives.
The Miami Grand Prix, which has quickly established itself as an important fixture on the Formula 1 calendar, offers an ideal setting for this artistic creation. The city, recognized as a global center of contemporary art, inspires this creative approach that promises to make the team’s presence a remarkable visual spectacle.
The C45 in its new livery will make its first laps today during the free practice sessions.
