Qualifiers delayed by 15 minutes
Due to the delay in the start of the Sprint race, it was decided to postpone the start of qualifying by 15 minutes, to 4.15pm local time (10.15pm in France).
The Sprint race was largely disrupted by the downpour that hit Miami in the hour before the start. While an initial attempt took place, there was ultimately a 28-minute delay for the launch of the second attempt.
This has therefore forced the organizers to revise the rest of the day’s schedule since they must also ensure that the Pirelli Hot Laps for VIPs, the Porsche Supercup qualifications, and the first F1 Academy race take place in good conditions.
The start of the qualifications has therefore been postponed by 15 minutes, to 4:15 PM (local time, 10:15 PM in France).
