Under pressure after several complicated weekends, Max Verstappen reacted perfectly at Imola by winning with mastery at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. Starting on the front row, the Dutchman quickly took command of the race, resisting repeated attacks from the McLarens throughout the event. Lando Norris, winner in Miami, tried to keep up the pressure until the checkered flag but never found an opening against a Red Bull that had become imperial again. Oscar Piastri completes the podium, confirming the progress of the British team.

« We made a step forward with the settings this weekend. This track suited us better with the fast corners. I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but it’s a positive weekend and we need to try to make the most of it every time. Monaco will be more difficult for us, city circuits are challenging, but I hope what we did today might help us a little there », said the Red Bull driver.

With this victory, the Dutchman takes a breath of fresh air in the championship and sends a clear message to his rivals: he will still be a force to be reckoned with in the fight for the title.
