Isack Hadjar still going strong in Spain
Isack Hadjar once again finished in the points. The Frenchman is the best French driver in the drivers' standings.
He continues to impress. After a brilliant weekend in Monaco, Isack Hadjar did it again in Spain. He once more reached Q3 and maximized his chances in the race.
He multiplied the overtakes, sometimes in bold fashion, including two on the outside, one of which was on Pierre Gasly at turn 3.
While he was in a position to deliver a great performance, Nico Hülkenberg, in fantastic form, overtook him in the final laps. The German even managed to overtake Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari. A slight regret for the Frenchman, but he prefers to focus on the day’s result.
I think this is my best weekend of the year. I was very solid, especially in qualifying. Today, we were good. It’s a shame that Hülkenberg passed us at the end of the race, analyzed Isack Hadjar after the race.
With this seventh-place finish, the Racing Bulls driver is the best Frenchman in the drivers’ standings.
