Charles Leclerc was an opportunist in Spain
Charles Leclerc, thanks to a daring maneuver at the end of the race, secured another podium finish. He succeeded in moving Ferrari into second place in the championship.

A second consecutive podium. Charles Leclerc was opportunistic during this Spanish Grand Prix. The Monegasque implemented his strategy from the qualifying by saving a set of tires. This tactic served him well during the race to gain valuable positions.
Despite Lewis Hamilton’s resistance at the beginning of the event, the driver did not lose much time.
At the end of the race, after the safety car came out due to Kimi Antonelli’s retirement, Charles Leclerc overtook Max Verstappen, who had made a mistake, allowing him to move up to third position.
I think we have a good dynamic at the moment. We have made good progress in the last three races, said Frédéric Vasseur, the team principal, after the race.
This strong performance by the Monegasque allowed Ferrari to climb to second place in the constructors’ championship, with Mercedes scoring only thanks to George Russell and Red Bull securing just one point with Max Verstappen.
