Felipe Drugovich, Formula 1 rather than the 24 Hours of Le Mans
Aston Martin's reserve driver has made up his mind if the team should call upon him to replace the injured Lance Stroll.

A calendar that doesn’t please everyone. For the third year in a row, Formula 1 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans are taking place at the same time. While Hypercars, LMP2, and GT3 are competing in Sarthe, the twenty fastest drivers on the planet will be heading to Canada.
Felipe Drugovich is set to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans at the wheel of the invited #311 Cadillac. But the problem is that he is also the reserve driver for Aston Martin. And in the event of Lance Stroll’s prolonged absence due to a hand injury, the British team might call upon his services.
Faced with this dilemma, the Brazilian has already made his choice. If called by Aston Martin, he will head to Montreal. “For now, I don’t even know exactly how things will unfold from now on. First of all, we must wish the best for Lance. Regarding Le Mans, with this in mind, my priority has always been Formula 1. So that will have to take precedence until further notice,” he confirmed to Band.
As a reminder, Stoffel Vandoorne could also find himself in this situation. The Peugeot driver is also a reserve at Aston Martin. And unlike the Brazilian, the Belgian already has experience in Formula 1.
