Fred Vasseur confirms his return for the British Grand Prix
Ferrari team manager Fred Vasseur will be making his return to the F1 paddock at this weekend's British Grand Prix.

Fred Vasseur missed the Austrian Grand Prix last weekend, having returned home for personal reasons, not specified by Ferrari.
The Italian F1 team had confirmed this information on Sunday morning, just hours before the race at the Red Bull Ring.
Fred Vasseur returns to Silverstone
Deputy team director, Jérôme d’Ambrosio, replaced Fred Vasseur and handled Ferrari’s media obligations after the Grand Prix.
But the Frenchman revealed that he would be back on the Ferrari pit wall to resume his duties at Silverstone.
Personally, I can’t wait to get back on the circuit with the team to enjoy the unique and special atmosphere of Silverstone », said Fred Vasseur during the team’s presentation.
The British Grand Prix this weekend will mark Lewis Hamilton’s first home race since joining Ferrari.
The seven-time world champion had claimed an emotional victory at the British Grand Prix last year, ending a 945-day winless period in F1.
Ferrari in search of performance
Ferrari had experienced an improvement in its performance in Austria, with Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton finishing third and fourth respectively at the wheel of the improved SF-25, thanks in particular to a revised floor.
Fred Vasseur hopes that Ferrari can maintain this momentum at Silverstone as the team looks to turn around a disappointing start to the 2025 season. « After Austria, we head to Silverstone, a very different track and one of the true classics », he added.
The improvements made to the SF-25 in Spielberg certainly contributed to our good result last Sunday, and we want to capitalize on this positive momentum for the next race.
« We know how important it is to focus on every aspect of our operations to deliver a strong performance. As always, we will focus on ourselves, with the aim of having another smooth weekend », he explains.
« It’s Lewis’s home race, and he will be particularly motivated to perform well, supported by the incredible backing he can always count on here », he concluded.
