Renault was in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico, last weekend to perform one of its almost cult-like Renault Roadshow events.
For two days, the two drivers from the French team, namely Giancarlo Fisichella and Nelson Piquet Jr, showcased the full power of a Formula 1 car in the long straight of Pasoa, the main thoroughfare of the city.
With over 19 million inhabitants, there was enough to pique the interest of the curious, over 300,000 of whom came behind the security barriers.
Operation successful for the diamond brand, which was performing its last show of the season. The 2008 calendar is already under study.
