The A1 Team Germany is currently 9th in the world motorsport championship. A rather poor result compared to the previous year, especially since the German team is already more than 20 points behind the leaders – New Zealand.

The team manager is therefore encouraging his members, especially the drivers, to redouble their efforts to retain the title they won last season.

The drivers are certainly at fault, but so is the team. Indeed, the single-seater used at Brno by Christian Vietoris last weekend was not consistent enough, and was losing positions almost every lap, which does not leave Weber indifferent!

« Unfortunately, the two drivers and the team have not yet managed to reach their best form, » declared Willy Weber.

« The team needs time to fix all the known issues at the moment, and in the race, a little more luck will be needed… »

« At the same time, Christian will have to improve on the track and show what he is capable of. He must also earn respect in duels and assert himself. » Continued the English manager.

He then added that his criticisms were only meant to motivate the team, which he had seen perform much better.

« Unfortunately, we have lost some ground to the leaders in the championship, but Christian has already shown that he has talent, especially in the practice session… »

« The team and the drivers are much better than what the results seem to show. I’m certain of it. Our short-term goal will be to change the current situation as quickly as possible. » He concluded.
