Will Power will start from pole position tomorrow for the 13th round of the season. The Team Australia driver dominated the entire session and leads in front of his home crowd, with a minimum of over 3 tenths ahead of his competitors. Results

In Surfers Paradise, on the streets of the city located on the East coast of Australia, races are often bustling and very enjoyable to watch. Will Power takes the opportunity to clinch his 4th pole of the 2007 season. He is ahead of Oriol Servia, who had set the provisional pole yesterday and was therefore supposed to automatically find himself on the front row.

Paul Tracy is 3rd, ahead of Sébastien Bourdais. The Frenchman, who could be crowned for the 4th consecutive time this weekend, only needs to finish in 12th position. Therefore, he likely won’t attack tomorrow.

Another in-form tricolor, Simon Pagenaud. The poleman’s teammate is 6th and positions himself as the leading rookie in this championship, as Robert Doornbos is only 14th.

Nelson Philippe, who won his first ChampCar race here last year, ranks 13th on his return to the discipline. You may have noticed the absence of another French driver in the standings, as Tristan Gommendy, who had competed all the 2007 season thus far, has been replaced due to injury by Oriol Servia.
