What a Grand Prix full of twists and turns, which ultimately sees Kimi Räikkönen clinch the world drivers’ championship title for the first time in his career. A reward for the driver, and the crowning achievement for Ferrari who secures both titles.

In the driver standings, first of all, it’s the Finnish driver who finishes first with 110 points, ahead of the two McLaren drivers, Hamilton and Alonso, who both finish with 109 points. It’s almost unbelievable! The British team thus loses the opportunity to make people forget about the dark espionage affair that had cost them all their points in the constructors’ standings.

In the continuation of this ranking that ultimately did not change with the race in Brazil, we find Massa in 4th position with a total of 94 points. Then the two BMW-Saubers, 5th and 6th with Heidfeld ahead of Kubica.

After a disastrous Brazilian GP, the two Renault drivers maintain their position. Kovalainen 7th and Fisichella 8th with 30 and 21 points respectively. Rosberg for Williams and Coulthard for Red Bull enter the final top 10 with 20 and 14 points respectively.

After retiring, Wurz remains 11th, followed by Webber, Trulli, Vettel, Button, Schumacher, Sato, Liuzzi, and Sutil, who rank between 12th and 19th places.

In the constructors’ standings, Ferrari is the winner with a total of 204 points. BMW-Sauber and Renault complete this final podium with 101 and 51 points, respectively. Williams is 4th and managed to fend off Red Bull in 5th. They finish with 33 and 24 points. At the end of the standings, we find Toyota, Toro Rosso, Honda, Super Aguri, and Spyker ranked between 6th and 10th place. McLaren finishes last with no points…
