Honda announced today that they will put three young drivers to the test during the next three days of November testing: Mike Conway, Luca Filippi, and Andreas Zuber.
The team has invited these drivers from the GP2 series championship during the tests in Barcelona, which will begin on November 13, as part of its research and development program for young talents.
« Honda is committed to developing and supporting promising young talents in motorsport, and we will take this opportunity to closely examine its three young drivers, who have been very impressive in the GP2 series this season, » said Honda’s sporting director – Ron Meadows.
« We will also evaluate their potential for adaptation and the help they can provide to our testing team. All the technical aspects will therefore be taken into account to meet our requirements. » He added.
One of these three drivers could well be the future 2008 test driver for the Japanese team.
