The FIA, the governing body of motorsport, has released the list of numbers that will be assigned to the different single-seaters for the Grand Prix of the 2008 season.

This list does not include any surprises and confirms that Kimi Räikkönen will drive car No. 1 next year, after winning the driver’s world championship title in 2007 with Ferrari.

McLaren, which was disqualified last year from the Constructors’ Championship, will have its cars assigned numbers 22 and 23.

The list confirms that Anthony Davidson will retain his place with Super Aguri for 2008, while the second driver’s name to race alongside Sutil at Force India is, as of today, the only small question mark that remains.
