Nick Heidfeld is in the process of changing managers as at the end of 2008, Werner Heinz will step down and Andre Theuerzeit will take over.
The existing contract between the BMW-Sauber driver and his current manager, Werner Heinz, expires after Christmas 2008.
Andre Theuerzeit, director of the sports communication agency bang, will assume the role at the end of a transitional period during which both men will share responsibilities in 2008.
« After a long and fruitful cooperation with Werner Heinz, who remains my manager to this day, I have decided, starting from the end of his contract, to take another path in terms of managing my career, » said Heidfeld to the motorsport magazine adrivo.
Furthermore, Stefan Seitz has become the legal advisor to the German driver, the statement added.
