The BMW-Sauber team has announced a new partnership with T-Systems, a services company and subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom.

The company’s logo will be visible both on the exterior and interior of the F1.08. Thus, it will appear on the nose of the car as well as on the team’s members’ clothing and the drivers’ helmets.

« The latest information and telecommunications technologies represent an integral part in automobile racing, » said BMW boss Mario Theissen.

The partnership between T-Systems and BMW brings together two leaders in innovation to create tailored solutions for our team.

Our new sponsor possesses the know-how, experience, and expertise in IT and telecommunications for the automotive sector. This makes T-Systems an ideal sponsor for the development of future technologies that can also offer key benefits for mass production, concluded Theissen.
