Timo Glock claims he did not feel any pressure as he managed to return to F1 for the 2008 season.
The German driver will be racing for Toyota after winning the GP2 title last year.
Glock participated in four Grand Prix races with the former Jordan team in 2004, before continuing his journey across the Atlantic in Champ Car for a year before returning to Europe to compete in the GP2 Series championship.
The 25-year-old man said he has already achieved his goal, which was to return to F1. Now, he is looking to help Toyota become more competitive and, at the same time, seeks to improve his driving skills.
« For me, there is no pressure. I think there was much more in GP2 or when I was trying to return to F1, » said Glock during his testing week in Jerez, which ended quite well…

« Now, I can only appreciate my return to F1 having reached my goal. I just want to be competitive, as I won’t be champion this year, that’s what I can say right away. »
I hope that Toyota will be competitive in the future. The goal in the long term is to achieve it in the next two to three years. The team can then hope to be among the top five teams or perhaps even among the top three.
« It’s my goal. It’s going to be tough for everyone, but I think it’s not impossible, » he continued.
Glock added that he has no personal goals regarding his future in F1.
« First, we are waiting to see how the season will unfold and how we will develop the car. »
In 2009, the regulations are going to change completely. I will work as hard as possible to achieve our collective goals.
