The Renault R28 on track in Valencia!
The new Renault was in the spotlight for the first time this Monday morning, with double world champion Fernando Alonso at the helm to make the first laps of the R28 on the Valencia circuit.
The Spaniard who is back at Renault after a year with McLaren-Mercedes had to wait a few hours before getting back on the track, and for good reason—a thick fog made any testing impossible.
The Spaniard finally managed to complete his first round at noon, after the track was opened.
The new single-seater should continue to run throughout the week in Valencia before being officially launched on January 31.
