On the occasion of this change, other modifications have been made to the BMW. The engineers have completely revised the clutch and developed an entirely new 6-speed gearbox.
The new 320, which will be alongside the Seat Leon TDi, Chevrolet Lacetti Essence, and other Honda Accord models, should represent the 2008 car on one condition: that the results in Puebla, the second race of the season, are satisfactory. Otherwise, the team might decide, especially if the regulations are in their favor, to keep the gasoline versions prepared by Schnitzer.
