ING Renault F1 Team is pleased to welcome Sakon Yamamoto to the team to take on the role of test and development driver during the 2008 season. The 25-year-old from Japan has participated in 14 Formula 1 Grand Prix races with Super Aguri and Spyker. His best result remains his twelfth place at the 2007 Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji Speedway.
Sakon will take part in the team’s development program and play an important role in the ING Renault F1 Team’s Roadshow program this season.
