McLaren boss Ron Dennis announced he is separating from his wife Lisa after more than 20 years of marriage.
In a statement released by McLaren on Friday morning, Dennis said he hoped his family could overcome this ordeal.
« Even though, for now, Lisa and I wanted to keep this confidential information to ourselves, we have decided to announce our separation after 22 years of marriage, » Dennis stated in this declaration.
« Inevitably, this breakup is difficult for us and our three children, and we hope that the media will respect our privacy. »
Neither Lisa nor I have any further statements to make on the matter.
