Ralf Schumacher signed a racing driver contract with Mercedes-Benz in the German DTM series in 2008, according to the German newspaper Bild.
The newspaper reports that Schumacher, 32, who had lost his place at Toyota at the end of last season, traveled to Stuttgart to formalize a one-year contract worth a million dollars with an option for 2009.
